Hello Abilene/ACU and Austin/SXSW, looking forward to meeting you on March 4-19. What sessions do you think I should attend? What question would you like answered? I promise to share my journey here on the blog and of course on the Awoque Facebook

On Sunday my US adventures begins. I will start by visiting ACU to meet students, PR professionals, faculty, lecture and go looking for social media creativity. The award winning ACU Connected awakens my curiosity. I will share my findings with you.

On March 9, the conference South by Southwest starts and a delegation from the West Chamber of Commerce will go looking for answers to:
- How can to Göteborg / western Sweden become Europe’s number one meeting place for creative and cultural industries? Here is a short interview with the project leader Sandra Norberg (and Erik Nissen) from October at Handelskammardagarna:

Hello my name is Johanna Olsson and I will do my internship at Awoque this spring as a social media producer. I study to become a webmaster and my passion is food. I am also a certified chef. One of my assignments will be to socialize “Folkmästerskapen i Omelett” on February 24 in Göteborg during the conference “Passion för mat (food)”.

I will also be one of the twenty contestants in the competition. Please share ideas on what to put in the Awoque omelet and follow our work the event here on our blog, in the Awoque Facebook group and on Twitter #awoqueomelett.

Thina Grotmarks started a new work position at Redcats to focus on her passion for Plus-Size fashion. She has brought a great big smile to the office every day. Together we have shared many laughters and tackled many reports for clients. High5 to you!

“It has been fun and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time developing and executing social networking opportunities for clients and partners at Awoque. The company is evolving and taking a direction that is best suited to and led by Victoria, who is at the heart of the company,” says Paul Williams.

Paul has been an amazing business partner, his insight and skills are second to none. We have enjoyed working together and we have had many high5 moments. I wish him all the best and look forward to connecting with him again through our many networks. Paul, will depart from Awoque on Monday November 21.

Petter Stordalen, CEO of Nordic Choice inspired us during an interview by Kajsa Dahlsten at Handelskammardagarna on October 14. He mentioned the use of social media to be one of the great success stories in letting the fans select the colors of the various rooms and floors. We had the chance to do a short interview with him.

We had a really good time awoqueing FashionDAYS at the Auto7H arena in Borås this week.

Fashion shows, the release of the new BMW 1-series, mingling, champagne, lots of work and High 5′s.

It really is a blessing to be able to combine my interest in fashion and design with my social media work at Awoque. Apart from our task to capture the spirit of the event and socialize it for our client. It was interesting to work with a multi-oriented audience that enjoyed the fact that FashionDAYS mixed fashion with cars, as well as other designs. FashionDays is much more than a garment event, it was a creative experience.

Idag tar många härliga ungdomar studenten i min hemstad Kungsbacka. Jag minns känslan i magen då 1998 när jag själv stod på Polhemsgymnasiets trappa och skrålade med T3Data. Alla förväntningar om framtiden, drömmar om äventyr och redan då vetskapen om att jag skulle driva eget företag gick allt i uppfyllelse med åren som följde.
Nu önskar jag dig glada student all lycka. Följ ditt hjärta, var dig själv och var lycklig varje dag.

Idag är det fokus på framtidens e-handelslösningar på “Världens Farligaste möte” på Liseberg anordnat av bl a Star Republic och Logica.

IDG presenterar listan över de 50 mäktigaste IT-kvinnorna i Sverige. Heja dem. Jag måste ju se alla som mina förebilder. Jag hoppas också att deras historier och lärdomar når ut till många ungdomar, unga kvinnor speciellt. Det går att ta sig hela vägen upp på toppen och påverka.
Extra glad är jag att Anna-Karin Hatt toppar listan. Jag ser fram emot att få träffa henne i verkligheten inom snar framtid och föra en tätare dialog.

Girlpower idag alltså !

Från bryggan i Limhamn skickar jag en hälsning att “livet ler”. Vågorna kluckar mot bagstegen jag nyss klivit på efter mitt morgondopp.
Jag tacksam för den här stunden, för en kort sekund var den bara min, men nu delar jag den med dig.

Igår föreläste jag och Ola Rynge om “Nya vägar till affärer med sociala medier” i en fullsatt salong på Eriksberg för ALMI Företagspartner Väst. Det var vår 5:e inspirationsföreläsning med samma tema. Den finns bevarad både på Bambuser och som Podcast.

Jag avrundar också härmed fem härliga år som innovationsrådgivare och specialist inom IT/sociala medier/marknadsföring/sälj på ALMI. Till alla härliga människor jag träffat under min tid både på Göteborgs- och Boråskontoret vill jag bara säga – TACK! Vilken källa till inspiration ni har varit : ).

Vi kommer säkert att ses i nya sammanhang och kanske på Facebook-sidan Sprinkler, en mötesplats för nya företag. Jag finns ju online, dygnet runt i många kanaler och fokuserar nu på Awoque.  HIGH5!
