Believe in who you are and be proud of it. These two steps is where it starts to be successful in social media. Most of know why we talk to our friends and collegues and how a great conversation starts and continues to become a lasting friendship. I dare you to see, really see. When you do, it will hurt, but you will gain experiences of a life time and be true. This world will be a better place.

I want to thank a great audience yesterday in Göteborg at Entreprenörs & Ledarskapsdagen för kvinnor arranged by Anneli Egestam

Here is my lecture (in Swedish) from Bambuser. I would love to get your feedback!

And the debate in the following panel:

Lars Backström, CEO of Västtrafik, decided to get the views of the fans who comment on issues concerning public transportation in the area surrounding Göteborg. Since he keeps an active dialogue on Twitter, he posted the invitation there under the #vasttrafika last week. The goal was to get a dialogue going and answer questions.

At Awoque, we think this a a great positive example of starting in the right mind set. High5 to you! Always start my listening and asking questions. This time Lars Backström chose a meeting place at the central coffee house Condeco. We will keep you posted on what happens next. Follow us on twitter @awoque and you will not miss a thing :) . We can also help you socialize your events and save all the positive energy!

We did this short interview with Lars Backström right before the fans started arriving.

We get inspired my tough questions about a field we are passionate about – Digital Trends and Communication. Yesterday, we gathered fans and great people for an evening of dialogue and soup together with our friends at DTRT. Thank you to all for your questions and a great conversation both IRL and in various social media channels (#thaisoppa on Twitter). We got inspired. High5!

Thomas Ivarsson, CEO at Tivalux won a prize for the best question

Remember the questions to your fans

When you decide to start interacting with your fans online, please remember to ask questions more frequently than adding statements. The conversation gets spicier that way. Volvo´s new CEO Stefan Jacoby introduced himself to thousands of online fans on the Volvo Facebook page three months ago and forgot one thing, the question. I would have given him thumbs up and high five for just asking his fans for example – “What can I do for you?”

Below is a minute from the inspirational lunch seminar we held at Chalmers Nov 16 (in Swedish).

Thank you Sjösektionen at Chalmers for an inspiring lunch conversation. I look forward to future interaction with you. I am impressed with your ideas.

The journey to prove “why” begins

I am so happy to see this blog online. We founded our company a few months back and this is truly our first real day at work when we go in full capacity. Both Paul and I wanted to post many thoughts during these starting weeks  and get the conversation going. We got a head start on Twitter, then YouTube, today Flickr and tonight our blog. We promise to keep adding the channels and increase the conversation.
I better continue preparing for a lecture at Chalmers tomorrow at lunch. I will aim to inspire and focus on the “Why? And why social media? Keep an eye out for photos and video in a day or so. Here is a video for those of you that understand Swedish from the beginning of a lecture at ALMI Borås November 10 with Ola Rynge.
