Capture the moment

Yesterday Avalon Hotel in Göteborg celebrated spring and invited 400 guests. Awoque teamed up with event producers Relevent and captured the energy, athmosphere and the fans’ comments online. Here are some more photos on Avalons Facebook page taken by talented photographer Emelie Lager.

Next week we start sharing offices with Relevent on Kungsgatan 42 in Göteborg. Please drop by for a cup of coffee.

Is there really any excuse for not doing what you love? If you ask Navid Modiri and Johannes Hansen the answer is No. Together they are touring Sweden with Mitt Företag, and yesterday it was time for Gothenburg to “talk about love, passion, and of course have the participants start touching each other!” as Navid and Johannes phrased it. Their energy is highly contagious, and when they left the stage after their session “Earn money doing what you love” we all had trouble standing still!

Clearly a High5 team!

What any event organizer wants is to create energy. This morning, Kungsbacka Frukostklubb did just that. They brought in Manuel Knight as a motivational speaker. To save some of this energy for future commercial or memory purposes one can record a part of the lecture to show later. Here are two clips from Bambuser we recorded for you. (Most of the material is in Swedish. We recorded with permission.)

If you would like to know more about how you could save the energy, socialize it in social media, at your events, do not hesitate to get in touch.

barbro lagerholm swerea victoria ahlen awoque april 2011Today Joel and I are at Wapnö, close to Halmstad, working with our client Swerea and the project MAKExperience. Like many meeting points where people gather, we want to save the energy here, document the day and show the highlights. Social media enables just that. Through various established channels, we spread the word and hopefully start a long-lasting cooperation.

Friday Fun February 17

uneatable from awoque blog 17 February 2011 damn you autocorrectTime to sum up another “High Five-week” at Awoque. Each day, we learn new things and evolve with them. That is what an entrepreneurial company does. We try though, to stay focused on great people, gathering positive energy, to deliver fantastic results . Then we shorten the link between our client’s and their fans through appropriate communication channels, social media tools and technical devices. But sometimes, just sometimes, funny things happen.

If you use a smartphone, you will know what I mean, especially if you have auto correct on. Sometimes the function helps a lot but sometimes (or even most times) it creates fuzz and misunderstandings. I have been frustrated many times since I recieived my Iphone on this point. However, I finally got the hang of it – simply tripple check everything you write ;-)

Here are some stories that show my point, enjoy and happy weekend ; )!
