Effective immediately Victoria Ahlén will take the helm at Awoque AB. Victoria who is a founding partner of Awoque and currently working as a senior strategist, accepted the broader role as CEO last week.

Victoria has a extensive experience as an entrepreneur and in management positions having founded Aitellu AB and Katapult. Victoria holds a BSc in electronic media from ACU in the United States.

Until recently Awoque, a relatively new company, has been managed by the founders. However, as the company is seeing significant growth in both staff and clients it was necessary that the CEO position be filled.

“From the moment Paul Williams and I started Sweden’s first, fully focused social media agency in August 2010, a lot of positive things have happened. First and foremost we have attracted a pool of incredibly talented social media people to work in the agency. Their skills and passion for social networking is helping to grow our client base. Our journey has just began and my initial focus will be on securing a solid client base and establishing Awoque’s reputation as the High-5 social media agency in Sweden,” says Victoria Ahlén.

Co-founder and Dir. Business Development Paul Williams says “I am delighted that Victoria has taken on the role of CEO. She is probably the most driven, energetic and positive business leader I know. Victoria has been responsible for a large part of Awoque’s current success and it is only fit that she continues as the CEO”.

Awoque AB – We help companies realize their social media potential and make it happen!

binero awoque på webcoast 2011 sponsorerLast week Awoque attended WebCoast in Göteborg, Sweden. We attended as participants but we also came as proud sponsors.  I cannot speak for the other sponsors but we wanted to ensure that everyone at the conference remembered Awoque in a positive, fun and energetic way. In this I think we hit a home run, or High 5, which has become some what of a mantra for Awoque, our clients, partners and others that engage with us.

What made Awoque’s sponsorship successful was our social attitude and approach. We spoke often with the organizers to ensure that our activities, competitions, etc. did not detract from the event. In fact, we worked hard to ensure we created added value for WebCoast, through interviews, tweets, facebook, YouTube films and more. Importantly, we engaged continuously with our audience.

In summary this targeted sponsored event enabled Awoque to:

- Enhance our corporate image/shape peer attitudes
- Be associated with high caliber companies
- Create positive publicity/heighten visibility
- Connect with key peers/recruitment opportunities

At Awoque, we participate the same way as we work; as socially as possible!

PS. Thanks to everyone who participated at WebCoast 2011 for making it a truly unique and fun event.

This campaign is a great example of marketing and social interaction that triggers a positive ripple effect. Gaining fans, appreciation and sales.

So sit back and enjoy some “Happiness” and have a fun Friday.

What emotions do you want your fans to take away, when they engage with your organisation?
