Welcome Björn Kåberger to Awoque! This is his first day at work after graduating from High School last week.

The 19^th of May is the world premiere of the official song for World Transplant Games 2011. The song Captain of the Ship is written and performed by Magnus Rosén, former member of the metal band Hammerfall.

This year Göteborg is hosting the event World Transplant Games, an international sport event for organ transplants, that will take place the 17 to 24 June 2011 with over 1000 athletes from 54 countries. Magnus Rosén and the opera singer Carolina Sandgren will perform the official song during the opening ceremony at Lisebergshallen in Göteborg June 18.

- This is the first time that I have created both the music and the lyrics which is really great”, says Magnus Rosén.

World Transplant Games is a contest where all participants are winners, after a long battle against life-threatening illnesses. The athletes have all been saved by different transplants. Without donors, none of these transplants would have been possible.
World Transplant Games 2011 royal patron is Prince Daniel, himself is a kidney recipient and will visit on June 18th.

We have a new client, Mind Event AB. If you haven´t heard of them you definitely will in the near future. Christer Perfjell and his company Mind Event is one of the sponsors for Toward a Science of Consciousness (TSC), an annual interdisciplinary conference on all aspects of conscious experience, organized by the Center for Consciousness Studies at the University of Arizona. This year the 18th TSC will be held May 1-8, 2011 at Aula Magna Hall, Stockholm University,  in Stockholm. Our role is to run the online press office, assist the team to interact with social networks and to reach out to a larger fan base.

During the event, about 200 of the world’s leading researchers and advocates in the field will gather at Stockholm University to discuss consciousness from a multidisciplinary perspective. There are also discussions about philosophy and religion, where and how will the concept of spirituality fits into the picture, and how far it is reconciled with the science of consciousness?

People like Deepak Chopra as well as Sir Roger Penrose, Professor at Oxford University and Professor Luc Montagnier, Nobel Prize winner 2008 in medicine will be lecturing at the event.
